If I had to describe BeautyCounter in one word it would be "clean". "Clean Beauty" that is. BeautyCounter is a company that creates clean, natural, safe, the list goes on & on. I love BC for that. When I started having health issues (diagnosed with Hashimotos & Sjogrens Syndrome) I made a commitment to myself to become as natural, healthy, and sustainable as possible. I only wanted to best put in my body and on my body all while keeping our carbon footprint on this Earth minimal. I'm not a "save the Earth and trees" girl, but we only have one Earth so might as well take care of it while we are here!!

I made the switch to BC for this very reason. I wanted clean beauty products without compromising quality. BeautyCounter is the epitome of that! So here are the products I currently use in my beauty regime. I am slowly but surely replacing my current products with BC products. I am hoping to be completely BC by summertime!

Counter+ Lotus Glow Cleaning Balm

This stuff is literally an all-in-one. Its a makeup remover, cleanser, and hydrator all in one!! I LOVE it. This stuff was my very first BC purchase and I get a new jar every single time I run out. AMAZING! It's a blend of lotus extract, jojoba seed oil, and avocado seed oil. It soothes and destresses skin without taking all the natural hydration out of your skin! It can also double as a overnight hydrating mask.. So versatile and does SO MUCH!

Countertime Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil

I use this cleansing oil every morning! It's so easy to use and makes my skin feel super soft after. Just apply a little drop to your fingertips, rub around, then rub onto your face and rinse off with warm water! SO simple and easy. It is super lightweight and gentle on the skin but effective in removing makeup and impurities without stripping essential lipids from the skin. It's also rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, and plant derived Retinatural Complex (BC formula that reinforces the skin's fragile moisture barrier for a soothed, nourished complexion) 

Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel

I actually got a little travel sized bottle of this resurfacing peel for free with my first purchase and I've reordered it since! It's AMAZING. I know I say that for all of these but they seriously are so great! This resurfacing peel leaves your skin with a nice, natural glow. It is made of a proprietary multi-acid complex that boosts clarity without irritation or over-drying. It has glycolic, malic, and botanically derived lactic acid that clears away dull surface cells. The arginine and essential fatty acids help soothe to reveal a brighter, healthier looking, renewed complexion.

Countercontrol Clear Pore Cleanser

I use this cleanser at night and some mornings when I have breakouts. I love this Pore Cleanser because it has nice exfoliating beads but does NOT dry my skin out and doesn't leave it feeling weird. This daily exfoliating cleanser, designed for oily and blemish-prone skin, removes oil, makeup, and other impurities without harsh surfactants that can strip skin of moisture. You will enter makeup remover wipe heaven once you use these bad boys. I've been a Neutrogena Makeup remover wipe girl for YEARS and when I made the switch to these there was not even a comparison. These knock Neutrogena out of the water!!! They remove makeup and cleanse your skin at the same time! They don't leave your skin feeling clogged and oily and nasty after using them. The aloe vera in them helps hydrate your skin and the cornflower water soothes delicate/sensitive skin.
